The name of this center was inspired by the building hosting it, a building erected in a Neo-Baroque style, in the late 19th century. Contemporary art exhibitions of both local and international artists are displayed here all the year round.
The exhibits are almost constantly accompanied by a series of explicative programs, conferences, meetings and discussions meant to catch visitors’ attention and to explain to the public the purpose of the respective exhibition.
