No vacation is complete if tourists are deprived of shopping opportunities. In Luxembourg, tourists can find all they want to buy, regardless of what they actually intend to purchase: mere souvenirs or symbolic gifts for the dear ones, or reputed European designers clothes.

The largest shopping center in Luxembourg is Auchan, located nearby the train station, but true shopping opportunities are yielded by the center of the Old City. Here tourists have the possibility to identify small and sophisticated shops selling local products and souvenirs, as well as great European designers boutiques dotting the countless alleys the area is replete with.

After visiting all the stores along Grand Rue, tourists can head for the Arms Square, Guillaume II Square or Paris Square, or for the train station area where products do tend to be a little less expensive.

Stores and boutiques are opened Monday between 2pm and 6pm and Tuesday to Saturday, between 9am and 6pm.
